JOB OVERVIEW

🏫 At Knighton Mead Primary Academy, we are looking for a Year 5 Class Teacher who will get to know our children, believe in what they can achieve and help them feel proud to belong to our school.

You will join a welcoming team that works closely together and values strong relationships with families. We are looking for a teacher who brings warmth, energy and ambition to the classroom and who will help every child in Year 5 feel seen, supported and ready to take their next steps.

We are looking for a teacher who will get to know the children in Year 5, build strong relationships with them and make learning something they look forward to. You will have high expectations, teach with care and clarity and help every child live our motto: “Be Kind. Work Hard. Strive for Excellence.”

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A detailed knowledge of the curriculum and its means of delivery

• High standards of communication and interpersonal skills.

• The ability to work as a team.

• The ability to work towards deadlines.

• The ability to motivate both students and your peers.

• Highly motivated and enthusiastic.

• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
