🌟 About the Role
To provide expert Trust-wide leadership in behaviour, culture and inclusive practice, strengthening the quality and consistency of provision across The Mead Educational Trust and improving educational outcomes for pupils.
The postholder will provide strategic leadership for behaviour and culture across the Trust's schools, working with Executive and school leaders to establish, implement and evaluate the Trust's strategic approach. They will provide assurance on the effectiveness of behaviour and culture provision, identify areas of strength and concern and ensure that appropriate improvement priorities are identified and addressed.
Working alongside school leaders and staff, the postholder will identify barriers to strong behaviour, culture and learning, provide expert challenge, coaching and support, and develop sustainable leadership capacity and effective systems. The role will involve regular work across Trust schools, with targeted and intensive support where required.
The postholder will use their experience and credibility as a successful school leader and practitioner to build the confidence and capability of others, enabling schools to sustain high expectations and positive cultures beyond periods of intensive support.
The principal focus of the role (90%) will be improving the educational outcomes of pupils across the Trust, with a wider contribution (10%) to Trust operational effectiveness.
