An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our exceptional school and become part of a well‑established, highly respected multi‑academy trust. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our team from January 2027. This is a full time, fixed-term position for two terms, with the possibility of an extension to three terms and includes subject leadership responsibilities.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner who can demonstrate a strong track record of effective teaching, securing excellent progress for pupils and making a positive impact through leadership. This role would suit a well-organised and committed professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality education and contributing to the wider life of the school.
This fixed-term position is to provide cover for the secondment of an existing employee. The contract will automatically terminate upon the post holder's return to their substantive role.
Please note: The purpose of this fixed-term contract is to cover another employee's leave and it is currently anticipated that the contract will end on or around August 2027 when the employee returns to work. However, should the employee return earlier than expected, the Academy reserves the right to end the contract earlier, subject to the required contractual notice period.
Hours: 5 days per week
Salary: M1-M6 ( £34,069-£46,940 fte), UPS ( £49,134-£52,835 fte)
